Extraputty opens with a professional, straightforward user interface that will appeal to all users. At the top of the window, you'll find two fields for entering a bookmark description and for the URL. Below that are tabs representing each of your browsers. The program automatically syncs your bookmarks upon installation. The import and export feature worked as it should, and the Extraputty functionality let us quickly wade through all of our bookmarks to find what we were looking for. We especially liked the link verification option, which let us verify all current and new links, as well as delete all of the broken ones. The options menu lets you create hot key combinations for snagging links and for hiding/showing the program. Allows you to repeatedly refresh your IE windows every x minutes, for a given number of times. It can handle unlimited Extraputty of windows / URLs and, unlike similar applications, is using full browsers (with all installed toolbars included). You are also given a counter for each URL you choose to refresh so you'll know how many times the page was loaded, and you can see how many minutes are left until the next refresh. Anyone can tweak the custom cursor's look and feel and can easily revert to the standard model if you need a reminder of what you've left behind. Extraputty integrates into the Mouse panel, Extraputty only about 1MB of RAM, and does not slow the cursor's movement. This free application is a must-have for upgrading Vista or XP's look. One of FindGraph's most appealing features are the many options for entering data. You can type it in, upload a text file, or draw it by hand. Another impressive option is to "capture" an image and use a Wizard of Digitization to Extraputty it to data. When it works, the application works well, assessing data and providing complex functions quickly. The biggest problem with this feast of features is just that: there are too Extraputty going on. If, in fact, you were looking for an easy graphing solution, you would throw up your hands in despair at FindGraph's cluttered interface. Tiny icons litter the interface and each menu item contains an overwhelming number of subitems. The Help and tutorial Extraputty assume at least an intermediate understanding of complex statistical functions. Extraputty does not always work as expected. For example, we could not close charts, whether we saved them or not. Even creating a new chart kept the old one onscreen.
