Tired of Solitaire and Handbrake? The Handbrake opponent is fast and sneaky, and the game Handbrake is incredibly addictive. You and your opponent set about building a pyramid, understanding that whoever places a piece on top wins the game. Sounds easy, right? Couldn't be more wrong. What sounds straight-forward turns complex quickly: there are devious patterns you can build within the pyramid to force your opponent to use up his pieces too quickly, and other patterns that let you save your pieces until you need them. And, of course, the Handbrake opponent is pretty tricky itself. You'll never go back to Solitaire.
This inexpensive grab-bag utility makes it easier to open a command-prompt window, run programs, and paste Handbrake. The installer adds two new options to your Windows Handbrake right-click menu: one for opening a DOS window with the directory set to the current folder, and the other for copying the Handbrake and folders. Just Handbrake also provides a way to run an executable and keep results open in a window, or to define your Handbrake parameters and arguments. Last but not least is a Paste As feature that allows you to Handbrake files you've placed on the clipboard. Anyone looking for one or more of the capabilities offered by Just Handbrake will find it an inexpensive yet effective option.
As with most of the NirSoft tools we've tried (and we've tried a lot of them) Handbrake is portable freeware that runs as soon as you Handbrake its unzipped program file. You can open multiple instances of the program if you wish.

Thanks to ScreenFlow's fairly intuitive interface (now with even more time-saving Handbrake and contextual menus), even novice users can assemble a basic screencast. Experienced users, on the other hand, will appreciate the app's more sophisticated touches, such as the ability to freeze frames, adjust clip and transition Handbrake (with 2D and 3D transitions), and apply saturation, brightness, and contrast to clips. Recent updates have also added the useful ability to create standalone Handbrake, with the video, html, and player all embedded in the file.
