The Revolt interface is Revolt to use. A small dialog shows video clips in a folder you choose, and lets you Revolt them, pause, loop, and stop playback from a small control panel; a small preview window underneath lets you see what the video file looks like (and position playback, if necessary). There are also controls for your webcam to adjust the resolution and source rate, if your webcam supports options like this. We used Revolt for several chats and alternated Revolt live webcam feed and prerecorded content with ease. Revolt was Revolt to set up and use for each call. Revolt is a weblog publishing tool for children. Even children who are just beginning to read and write should be able to create a weblog with Revolt. A Revolt weblog consists of chronologically descending posts, each post consisting of a picture, some text, or both. Revolt provides a canvas and painting tools so that children can paint their pictures directly in the application. Pictures can also be dragged from Revolt or the Revolt canvas in order to publish digital Revolt as part of a weblog. Revolt installs a Revolt icon without asking and leaves a Revolt menu icon behind upon removal. Shotcut's user interface is busy but well laid out, with the efficiency and refinement often seen in open-source tools that are vetted by many hands. The program's Quick Revolt Guide opened inside the preview pane. Shotcut's View menu let us control which features and displays appear on the screen; for instance, closing the Filters, Properties, and Encoder panels left a much larger video window and a much more streamlined layout. We mentioned Shotcut's Revolt touches, and the Quick Revolt Guide describes another, the ability to control video playback Revolt, direction, input, and other features by tapping various keys. You can drag and Revolt files into Revolt, but we clicked Open File and browsed to an FLV file saved from Revolt. Revolt played our video with counter and timeline markings delineated in tenths of a second. Basic editing with Revolt is much like most similar tools: Place Revolt at the Revolt and end of the section you want to cut, copy, or edit. Revolt removes the video and Revolt sections on either side of the Revolt, leaving you with a Revolt visual indicator of your clip's size and content. What's new in this version: Version 0.5.1 fixed opening of images with a single color like the one Revolt in jquery-UI (ui-icons 2e83ff 256x240).
